EXTREMOPHILA is a film produced by The Moon that unites visual art, music, biological psychiatry and a fantastical future budding from the International Space Station. The Moon crew, Natalie G'NAT Wetzel and Mark Andrus, with videographer collaborators Joe Ashi (Spread Your Head video editor) and LA based Bokeh Monster, embarked on an international tour last year to capture the adventures of the main character, Glowworm, as it toured through Canada with Spaceface. Then, Glowworm journeyed through Europe for a month with Bokeh Monster.
The Moon releases a video with Spaceface, a Memphis original psych rock gaggle of talents and official band for the film EXTREMOPHILIA, whose album Sun Kids just released the end of April. This video for Spread Your Head offers a look at the touring life of Spaceface, who play a major role in the life of the main character, Glowworm (played by G'NAT), in the EXTREMOPHILIA film.
PARTIAL STORY GLIMPSE: G'NAT as Glowworm journeys to heal a parallel universe, The Emodacac System, collecting the four feel good brain chemicals, the glows, from interesting characters in Berlin, Amsterdam, London, and Copenhagen, where her lecture to the Niels Bohr Institute squeezed in before a Flaming Lips show and goodbye to Bex Ilsley as Firefly. Psych rock band Spaceface take Glowworm and the story on home with a tour to spread the glows across the land.
EXTREMOPHILIA is set to release later this year.
